ABOUT JUSTIN
Putting Experience to Work
For Justin's entire legal career, he has served as an Assistant District Attorney in the 19th District. For more than a decade, he has prosecuted felony cases in Jackson County, including violent crime, child abuse, and serious drug offenses, while working closely with law enforcement, victims, and their families. Having sought justice for victims and holding violent criminals accountable for their actions, Justin knows the Circuit Court, its responsibilities, and the weight of the decisions made there.
Having spent his career preparing and trying cases in the Circuit Court, the transition from the Assistant District Attorney to Circuit Court judge is a natural one. He is ready to step into this role with the experience, preparation, and steady judgment the position demands.
Justice requires fairness, consistency, and respect for the rule of law. It requires a judge who is impartial, prepared, and committed to applying the law as written while protecting the rights of all involved. These principles have guided his work every day as a prosecutor, and they will continue to guide him on the bench.
Justin was raised in Pascagoula, educated in Mississippi, and is proud to be raising his family here in Jackson County. This community has shaped who he is. Serving south Mississippi has been the honor of his professional life, and he would be grateful to continue that service as Circuit Court judge.
Justin is humbled by the support and positive response received up to this point, he looks forward to visiting with many of you in the months ahead and sharing more about his vision for this court. He would be honored to earn your trust and your vote in November.
